not safe (original) was released as BAYLI's 3rd single off her Debut EP 'stories from new york' the track was a window inside the heart of BAYLI as she wanted to shine light on the conversation of what's 'not safe' to her and anyone else. With the acoustic version we hope to reengage the same message with this intimate version of the recording. This is a direct message to the world that things aren't SAFE but we can do better. The plans are to donate all the funds to an LGBTQ+ charity that prioritizes protecting our youth.

ABOUT BAYLI . . .
BAYLI is a singer/songwriter/producer and actor signed to Warner Chappell from Bed Stuy, Brooklyn. She originally started her career in a band called The Skins that was arranged by music legend Rick Rubin and signed to Universal Republic. They toured North America with DNCE as she solidified herself as a respected songwriter and producer. BAYLI’s anthemic production and infectious melodies were cultivated under the mentorship of Justin Tranter. To date, she has written with a number of artists across the spectrum of genres including Jesse McCartney, Giveon, Josh Dean, Take a DayTrip, DLMT, Whipped Cream, Baby Goth, Mulatto, Blu DeTiger, Duckwrth, Alex Mali, Bynon, Stefan Benz, Bea Miller, Luh Kel, and just cut some records for Janet Jackson.
After releasing her debut single from her EP 'sushi for breakfast' BAYLI made it clear she is unapologetically queer and here to fight for voices like hers to be heard. We are now gearing her up for her first solo EP coming this Spring stories from new york.
