The funds being raised will give me the ability to get my next single mixed and mastered for its release. Both new singles truly mean the world to me, from releasing my album to now it feels as if its a fresh start to the music I've always wanted to be making with my team. It's far more personable, raw, as well as honest compared to what I have released in the past. Through this next era of my music I'll be letting my fans in more and more. Which has always been the goal. Starting with 'maple syrup' as my first single back after a while will be perfect. As it's a sweet love song, I know a lot of people will be able to relate to the passion in the song/lyrics.
About the music
'maple syrup' is the first song I wrote while being able to play the guitar on my own. It's about/for my girlfriend. With references of her favorite songs (Sweet by Cigarettes After Sex) , artists (Mac Miller), or just little things I love about her. Especially being in a long distance relationship between Canada and the United States; 'maple syrup' is a piece of me she can always have with her whenever I'm not there.
