I want to share proceeds from my new record with my fans, friends, and supports. If you are one of the three, let's partner up on this one if you believe in this song as much as I do. Thank you ahead of time!
This song relates to the realization all "love" shown isn't genuine. The game of emotions is painful so it's best you learn how it's played. Even though it hurts.
Don Kody, producer & Ohio native with an aura about him that makes him a familiar vibe even at first meeting. The future content creator quickly understood the need to be able to produce original music. Not one to stick to the same monotones, Don Kody isn’t afraid to experiment with flows and deliveries unbothered by the stereotypes that plagued most street rap artists.
Don Kody’s music production is varied do to his vast musical influences from Hip-Hop, Smooth R&B to Miami Bass to Boom Bap to Funk and everything in between due to being the second youngest of 7 siblings and even his parents had various tastes in music. It’s completely save to say the music chose him. Through the years Kody developed into a multifaceted content creator, finally a word that describes the creation of all things music related from rapping, producing, audio engineering, script writing and songwriting. Being a jack-of-all-trades has become the normal business model but in his young time to wear all of those hats had a shock and awe effect on people then. That increased ten fold when his mother bought a Gateway PC and he discovered Sonic Foundry ACID Xpress. Off to the races in a world with minimum support because perusing a music career then was like throwing your life away on a pipe dream.
Without financial backing, Kody realized his creative efficiency would eventually become his capital for networking and collaborations adopting Master P of No Limit Record high volume output approach. His turnaround time and quality of the work became his cost effective way to market himself as a brand within niche movements by way of cross-promotion.
Kody even took on the internet DJ wave for cross promotion purposes by doing projects like the “Valley Kings Mixtape” in collaboration with Denver native and Core DJs/Shade 45 DJ K-Tone in association with PUSH Promotions. Don Kody even secured a sponsorship from cigar company Goodtimes USA for his mixtape titled “That Good” perfectly blending unsigned, independent, as well as mainstream artists on the tape and it did well. The Bay-Area based Frisco Street Show brand known for the This Is How We Eat compilation series partnered up with Kody to promote their energy drink line called Hunid Racks to produce their campaign song titled “Pass The Racks” featuring almost 20 artists from various places nationwide on this one beat! After wowing them with that a Hunid Racks sponsored mixtape titled “Keep It One Hunid” followed. Next Kody was asked to host, mix, and graphic design their retail mix tape series titled “Best Of Frisco Street Show”. The seven volume set was compiled from the catalog they had on legendary Bay-Area artists San Quinn, Messy Marv, The Jacka and Husalah.

Kody received a Facetime call from Inspectah Deck of Wu-Tang Clan informing him that the beat the he won the contest with was getting placed on Deck’s upcoming project. The cherry on top was the fact Method Man & Redman were recording verses for the song as well.
