Jag är så taggad på att äntligen få dela med mig av det här projektet till er. "Tack, Jag Mår Bra" är en låt som andas pop-rock och 90-tals high school film. Den är ett manifest till alla som blivit "fucked over" av någon dom trodde dom kunde lita på. Jag vill att låten ska kännas som terapi för att komma över någon som inte är värd ens energi.
Detta är min debut på svenska och jag är så oerhört taggad att få göra det tillsammans med alla er. Jag hoppas att ni ska älska låten lika mycket som jag och att ni vill vara med på denna spännande resa med mig. Alla kampanjpengar kommer gå till PR och fotografering för lanseringen av låten.

I'm so excited to finally get to share this project with you. "Tack, Jag Mår Bra" is an energetic pop/rock song inspired by 90's high school movies. It's a manifest to everyone who's ever been fucked over by someone they thought they could trust. I want the song to feel like therapy to finally get over someone who's not worth your time and energy.
This is my debut in Swedish and I'm beyond excited about doing this together with you guys. I hope you'll love the song as much as I do and that you all want to join me on this journey. All campaign money will go to PR and photography for promoting the song.

About the music
Tack, Jag Mår Bra skrevs uppe i Övik över bara ett par timmar. Orden bara trillade ur mig och jag och min producent Adam fattade direkt att vi hade något riktigt fett på gång. Jag tror jag alltid velat göra en sån här låt och att jag haft mycket material på lager. Låten är ett manifest för alla som blivit fucked over av någon man trodde man kunde lita på. Den är inspirerad av filmen 10 saker jag hatar om dig. En episk kultfilm som jag kollade på tusentals gånger när jag var yngre. I äkta 90-tals high school movie anda så andas låten pop/rock, pink teenage room och stora känslor.

"Tack, Jag Mår Bra" was written up north in Örnsköldsvik Sweden, in just a couple of hours. The words just fell out of my mouth and my producer Adam and I immediately realized that we were onto something good. I think I've always wanted to write this kind of song and I had loads of material to draw from. The song's inspired by the movie "10 things I hate about you". An epic movie that I used to watch over and over when I was younger. The song captures, in true 90's high school movie spirit, pink teenage rooms, big emotions and an explosion of pop/rock tunes.

3 gånger i Mello och 6 år på majorbolaget Warner Music har gett mig mycket erfarenhet och sjukt roliga upplevelser. Jag har tagit mig både till final, andra chansen och åkt ut en gång så känner att jag verkligen gjort allt och är nu redo för nya utmaningar och spännande projekt. Som låtskrivare är det viktigt för mig att berätta en story och jag vill att mina låtar ska tilltala en bred publik. Mina texter är fulla av självdistans och en smula humor men samtidigt ärliga och sköra. Pop/rocken har varit det jag lyssnat på när jag var yngre och det känns helt naturligt att äntra den bannan som artist nu. Det är dags att folk får lära känna Ellen Benediktson utanför Mello-bubblan och med detta projekt bjuder jag in till just det.

Participating 3 times in the Swedish Eurovision Song Contest and 6 years at the major label Warner Music has given me a ton experience and a lot of really fun adventures. I made it to the Swedish Eurovision final, wound up the Second Chance stage and lost once…so I can definitely say I've done it all. Now I'm ready for new challenges and exciting projects. As a songwriter it's important for me to tell a story and I want my songs to reach a wide audience. My lyrics are self aware, sprinkled with some irony and humor but still honest and vulnerable. I've always listened to Pop/Rock growing up so it feels totally natural to step into this scene as an artist myself. It's time people get to now the Ellen Benediktson outside of the Eurovision bubble and with this project I've inviting you all in to just that.
