"Broke Bank" is a song that was produced and written by myself and is a very important release for me as it expresses a big transition in my lifestyle.
Many of my past releases have been focused on the negatives I’ve experienced throughout life, while "Broke Bank" represents the way I feel after seeing some success with music and how this is just about the greatest positive in my life. Not that success with music makes me feel like the man. Not at all. It's about breaking free from every reason I’ve ever had that’s held me back from releasing music or doing whatever it is I wanted to do because of other people’s reactions.
I'm now saying that that doesn’t matter because it truly doesn’t affect me anymore. I feel like this is a common problem across the globe, where people don’t use their full potential because of social anxiety, so, I feel this song translates to all of those people.
While my previous releases are considerably slower-paced, "Broke Bank" surprises the audience with a heavy 808 trap beat consisting of a quick tempo and much more aggressive and confident-sounding Hutty lyrics.
The percussive elements are familiar to that of west coast beats for artists such as OHGEESY and Shoreline Mafia. Overall, the song is motivational, extremely captivating, and above all, a blast to listen to.
