Hi! We are Ida & Elina. After everything that has been going on in the world the last two years, we believe that music is more important than ever. Especially music with good vibes and positive energy and that is why we are releasing Coming down.
Now we need your help to reach out to as many people as possible. The money will be spent on advertisement and promotion for the song. So that more people will hear it and hopefully love it as much as we do.
Lots of love,
Ida & Elina, Isle of You
Coming down is our happy pill disguised as a pop song. We’ve written a lot of songs about falling in love. This one is about staying in love. <3
Isle of You was named Artist of the Future in Swedish Radio 2019 and nominated at P3 Gold 2020. With a striking Us Against the World-attitude and the romantic image of youth, Isle of You makes pop with 80s influences, about grand emotions in small moments.
The Stockholm-based duo consists of Ida Johansson and Elina Danielsson from a small island in southern Sweden called Öland.
In 2018, Isle of You was highlighted by SIA when the she added the single Bodyguard to her official Spotify playlist "Team Sia's EarCandy". The song idea for Bodyguard was born after the duo played at a high-security prison in Medellin, Colombia, where the audience consisted of life-long prisoners from the Cartel and the paramilitaries.
"Playing at that prison made us understand how similar we all are, despite the fact that we are born with different conditions in different parts of the world. We had never had such a great exchange of joy and love thanks to music. "
Isle of You is Sweden's new pop duo that flirts with the 80's. The songs "Change of Heart" and "Hold Tight" were named Song of the Week by P3 and the single "Backseat Ceremony" was used by Carlsberg in their launch for new taste experiences.
"Coming down" is their summer single of the year and is one of the songs from the duo's upcoming EP.
