Having come from a humble background full of struggles and challenges especially with finding resources to help push my musical dream, in a country that doesn't really value talent that much, a place where there are no major record labels to sign talented musicians, a country where musicians like myself struggle to make a living from our own music.
I had to look for ways to help push my tracks and survive through these harsh industry conditions all on my own. Amazingly, I discovered web3 & the blockchain 6 years ago.
The blockchain is one of the powerful tools I figured I could leverage on as an independent creator and since then I never looked backed.
This is part of why I'm launching a fund raising campaign on Corite which is blockchain powered music platform which I highly hope will be a success.
The funds from this campaign will be used to fund this projects in various ways. One of the ways I plan to use the funds is to promote and push the track "Mbaya Sana" to a much wider audience across various social platforms and medium.
I also plan to make & create a quality music video with the funds. This music video will be minted on the blockchain and sent to wallets of all campaign backers of the track Mbaya Sana.
I will come up with a fair & unique way to distribute the musicNFT video to all backers.
I will also use some of the funds for studio equipment upgrade and studio setup upgrade so that I can continue to produce and release even more bangers and songs whenever inspiration hits.
