Our song blew up on TIKTOK, with 30 million streams and counting. Where do we go from here?
Last year our song Chernobyl 2017 suddenly blew up in Japan thanks to a tik tok dance started by a group of people from Tana High School.
As an homage / big thank you to all the people who helped our song become a hit in Japan by dancing to it on TikTok, we have made a song for you!
And we wanna give back and give you the opportunity to become part owner of this song, which means every time the song is streamed you will make money.
The money we raise will be spent on marketing the song, so more people hear it, and also on a trip to Tana High. We wanna meet you!!
When it is possible to travel again, we are going to Japan, and these funds will be used towards a visit to Tana High, so we can get to know our awesome fans better, and create some fun content together in the place where this whole adventure began!

私たちの曲はTikTokで大きな話題となり、音楽サイトで3000万回以上再生されています。さて、一体この次には何が待ち受けているでしょうか？
昨年、神奈川県のとある高校の生徒さん達が始めたTikTokダンスのおかげで、私たちの曲「チェルノブイリ2017」が日本で突然大ヒットしました。
TikTokで踊って日本でヒット曲を作ってくれた皆さんへの心からの感謝の気持ちとして、私たちは日本の為に曲を作りました！
そしてこのキャンペーンでは、参加者全員にこの曲の共同所有者になって頂きたいと思っています。具体的には、曲がストリーミング再生されるたびに、参加者の皆さんに報酬が支払われます。 私たちがこのクラウドファンディングを通して集めたお金は、より多くの人に聞いてもらうための曲の宣伝広告費や、日本への渡航費に充てられる予定です。日本の学生さん達にとっても会いたいです！！
また旅行ができるようになったら日本に行き、ヒットのキッカケとなった神奈川の高校も訪問し、日本のファンのことをもっとよく知り、一緒に楽しいコンテンツを作りたいと思っています。ここから我々の新たな冒険が始まります！
About the music
In the Norwegian “Russ-culture” which is where we come from, we have a tradition of making custom made songs for high schools graduates; groups of friends from the same area. And now we wanna bring this tradition to Japan!

ノルウェーには、オーバーオール履いた高校生たちが卒業を祝い至る所に出没する『ルス（RUSS）』と呼ばれる、街中で大騒ぎをすることが公に認められている特殊な文化があります。この伝統的なルスで行う定番ネタのひとつとして、同じ地域の卒業生らで集まって歌を作るというものがあります。実はMeland x Haukenの『Chernobyl 2017』も、その伝統的お祭りの一部として作られた曲なんです。彼らの新曲『Tana High School 2021』を日本中たくさんの方々に聞いてもらう事で、このノルウェーの伝統的な「ルス」という文化も一緒に広く知ってもらえたらと考えています。
